* The 10k marathon will have a Standard category and an Unlimited category run at different times. Each competitor may enter both of these races. The Standard category is competed by age group on regular (24" or smaller) unicycles. The Unlimited category is for any competitor, regardless of age, with no restrictions on wheel size, crank arm length, or gear ratio. Any kind of unicycle, with any size wheel and crankarm length, is allowed.

** Gliding and Coasting will be distance races held on a flat road at the marathon site, not on the track.

NOTE: Those participating in the marathon, coasting, and gliding events need to pay a 2000 yen fee for the charter bus.

IUFでは今後の一輪車の発展に向けて24インチ車から700ｃ車への標準車種の移行を考慮中です。

The 700c wheel races are being introduced for the first time as exhibition events. There will be awards for the winners, but these races will not be part of the points accumulation for world championships. All requirements for track unicycles must be met, except for the following:

Wheel size: Between 24.333" and 29.5" in diameter (standard 24" unicycles are not allowed in this race)
Crankarm length: no restrictions

Kyokai という団体でしたら最初のKのみ大文字あとは小文字ということをグループ内で徹底してください。

Volunteer judges, referees and other officials will be needed at UNICON XII. Such volunteer work can be done on a part time basis even if you are a participant. There is much work in running the various events, so another possibility is to volunteer to assist the various event directors (basketball, Muni, hockey, racing etc.). To apply, please fill out the Provisional Reservation Form available at http://www.unicon12.com/. We will confirm your reservation within a week. It is possible to make other arrangements, but it is recommended that both participants and non-participants stay at this facility, which is on the same site as where the competitions will be held. 1. KYOTO Sightseeing Tour:京都ツアー

Kyoto is the beautiful ancient capital of Japan. A minimum of 30 participants is required. The tour will be on August 2 and August 3, with an overnight stay in Kyoto. The details will be announced on http://www.unicon12.com/english/tour1_e.html.

2. Other Sightseeing Tours:その他のツアー

Various other sightseeing tours are available. For details see the website of Nippon Travel Agency at http://www.nta.co.jp/english, with whom we have a special arrangement for tours for Unicon participants.

Applications to any sightseeing tours should be made by contacting Japan Tours. For contact information see Accommodations section above.

以下に記載しているのは海外選手用です。日本j国内参加者の支払いは郵便振替のみで行います。振替用紙は団体代表者宛てに送付済みですが、ご入用の方は協会まで（03-3497-1048）ご連絡ください。

Payment for registration fees are done by wire transfer in Japanese yen.

All transfer charges on wire transfers, including those that the JUA must pay at the receiving end, are to be borne by applicant. PLEASE ADD 2500 YEN TO YOUR PAYMENT TO COVER TRANSFER CHARGES at the receiving end. If you have any questions on payments, please contact Mayumi Sakaino at regist@japanunicyclingassociation.org.

The charge of 2500 yen applies to a single wire transfer transaction yen, so it makes sense to consolidate group and team payments, which requires only a single 2500 yen transfer charge per transaction.
